365 STRANGERS

Lui è Omar. Lo noto mentre si dirige verso la stazione. Dice di avere un treno dopo cinque minuti, ma finisce che passiamo insieme mezz'ora, rimandando il rientro suo e della fidanzata che lo accompagna. Così scopro che il suo esempio è Steve Jobs e che ha in programma di iscriversi all'Università. Vorrei studiare Economia e Marketing. Mi affascina la possibilità di intuire in anticipo ciò che può piacere alle persone. Dicono che alcuni prodotti Apple in uscita siano stati progettati anni fa da Steve Jobs. Me lo dice così, sostenuto dalla passione e dalla forza dei sogni di quell'età. Mi allontano e penso a questo: oggi, negli ultimi giorni in generale, sento qualcosa di diverso, sono più in figura gli aspetti fotografici piuttosto che altri.

This is Omar. I notice him while he’s approaching the station. He tells me he has a train leaving in five minutes, but we end up spending half an hour together, thus postponing the return of him and his girlfriend. So I discover that his model is Steve Jobs, and that he’s going to enroll to university. I’d like to study Economics and Marketing. I’m fascinated by the possibility to foresee what people might like. They say that some of the Apple products that are about to be launched were developed years ago by Steve Jobs. He’s supported by the passion and the strength of the dreams typical of his age. I leave with these thoughts: today, and more in general in the past few days, I feel something different, the photographic elements are more in focus than the others.
