Lei è Jessica. Mi colpiscono i suoi colori, invernale nel verde degli occhi, nel bianco del volto e nel cappotto. Ha un volto dell'est, provo a indovinare dicendo prima Lettonia, poi Ucraina. Sbagliato. Parla perfettamente inglese, non ci sono accenti e mi arrendo. Just english, del nord. Ma mio nonno è ucraino e mia nonna calabrese. L’incontro tra Calabria e Ucraina si è espresso così, in lineamenti gentili a tratti interrotti da colori più scuri. Sono inglese, ma quando sono con mia nonna credo di essere anche calabrese.
